If there’s one fabric I could never give up it’s denim. It’s in my bones — literally and figuratively. I’ve been designing with it, wearing it, and obsessing over it for as long as I can remember. But what keeps denim endlessly interesting to me is its relationship with color. Specifically right now — mint green, pink, and blue. Together with denim they create something that feels both relaxed and intentional, casual and considered.

Denim is the great equalizer of fashion — it goes with everything, works for everyone, and never really goes out of style. But here’s what I’ve learned after years of designing with it: denim is actually a canvas. And like any great canvas, what you pair it with is where the real magic happens. Lately I can’t stop thinking about mint green, soft pink, and every shade of blue alongside it — a palette that feels fresh and optimistic and completely unexpected in the best possible way.
Think about it: a soft mint top over your favorite jeans and suddenly you look like spring. A blush pink layered with denim feels romantic without trying. And blue — whether it’s a pale sky blue or a deeper cobalt — creates that tonal denim moment that is having a serious fashion moment right now. These aren’t safe colors. They’re joyful colors. And denim is the perfect partner for all of them.
